Ceramic materials
The 3D printed ceramic zirconia has a surface finish of up to 0.6 microns and a minimum wall thickness of 120 microns and can be used directly without polishing and post-treatment. It has already been used for dental crowns, implants and maxillofacial stents.
Printable ceramic materials include Aluminium Oxide (Al2O3), Zirconium Dioxide (ZrO2), and Hydroxyapatite/Tricalcium Phosphate HA.
